Mr. Tim Griese, AnnMarie's dad, is looking for two to three dozen volunteers on the afternoon of Saturday, March 18.
We'd like them to cordially and happily try to keep kids back out of the street along the early part of our Parade route on E. Commercial St.
This would be Parade Ambassador role rather than any kind of an enforcement role.
It would be a chance for the kids to get 4 community service hours in one, fun afternoon. If interested, students could contact me by texting 417-234-3962

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jennifer Nigro; I’m the Coordinator of Volunteers for Audio-Reader, an audio information service for people who have trouble reading standard print due to vison loss, physical or learning disability, mobility challenges, and age. As some of you know, we are getting ready to officially launch service in Springfield, MO. This will begin with offering the Springfield News-Leader on our Telephone Reader service (area grocery ads are also available). To that end, we are recruiting volunteer readers, and will be at the Springfield library on Thursday, September 15 from 11-3:30 to hold reader auditions. Please help share the attached information about our audition day. Once we have volunteers in place, we’ll be able to start offering service to the area!  Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Nigro
